Rude and dishonest

I purchased paint and other materials. I asked the associate to shake the paint and was given attitude about shaking paint that wasn't tinted. When I got back to the job site, I discovered that white paint had been tinted pink. When I tried to return it, same day, and explained there had been a mistake they denied responsibility and refused to refund my money because paint was tinted.

Poor Management

Tammy, Manager Daytona Beach Florida unapologetic to lack of notification outlet in place for installer to arrive. Home Depot’s terms state IF NO OUTLET IS IN PLACE BUT POWER IS AVAIL THROUGH EXTENSION CORD INSTALLER WILL USE. Installer refused to arrive. Tammy labeled as “ my feelings” “as my feelings inappropriate” and stated “I had reading miss-comprehension of written install terms”. Home Depot’s installer terms are not upfront and clear. As customer you only become aware of this after you’ve paid and wait 48hrs period of being contacted by subcontracted installer. Then you have to use your time to back-track for refund and locate alternate products and service elsewhere. It would have been nice to have had the job ( installing a garage door opener) done by Home Depot as initially arranged and experience efficiency.

Ordered installation and paid in advance. Company texted reminder of appointment the day before but was a no show no call during four hours window for appointment. When called company said they rescheduled for several days later.

Employees are not trained properly. No idea how to find the price on an item without a barcode.

Great Personnel

Joan and Justin were very helpful processing my order, they had to contact several other stores in different cities to retrieve information lost from the computer system. I wouldn't have been able to process my order without their time, dedication and professionalism. Thank you, keep up the good work!

I suffer from social anxiety so going in a store is trying to say the least. When I got to the counter the customer service manager Kimberly helped me. She was very friendly and professional. I will come back with employee's like her on your team.

Exceptional Staff at this Home Depot

No cashiers

This is the second time in 2 weeks I go to this home Depot and they do not have any registers open to check you out. They want you to use self-checkout only. I do not use self-checkout I am not a cashier I do not know how to work a cash register and I don't want to learn how to. If you do something wrong and something doesn't get scan properly you will be promptly arrested and charge with shoplifting. You will then have a record for the rest of your life. Not worth taking a chance.
