Tips & Variations
Here are a few things to keep in mind when making your strawberry cream cheese.
- Use room temperature cream cheese. This is key to obtaining the light and fluffy texture. Chilled cream cheese will be much harder to mix and cream cheese that’s too soft will not hold its shape.
- Can I use other fruit? Yes! You can make flavored cream cheese with any other berries, peaches, and even pineapple. Just be sure to use an equal amount.
- Can I use frozen strawberries? Strawberry cream cheese is best with fresh strawberries. Frozen strawberries hold too much moisture will make the mixture runny.
